use of knipex new electronic ultra fine cutting work super knips
I've used knipex side cutters for years and I have to say they have been superb, I've never had any problems with them since I first bought them as an apprentice electrician in the early eighties. In fact I still use the same pair that I bought then and don't ever expect to buy any others ! That's why I was very confident to buy the electronic cutters for depopulating a number of circuit boards that I had. They worked OK until I got to cutting finer metal pins. Although they are comfortable in the hand they simply didn't cut the pins any easier than the cheap cutters I was hoping to improve on. I have no problem with the company that supplied them, I am just very disappointed with knipex themselves. I don't know if there has been a drop in quality since I last bought them in the eighties but I will really have to think twice before I invested in another one of there products.
