Loving my new super-smooth, simple, and solid Singer buddy!
4 of 4 found this helpful My mum used to work for Singer sewing machines so I kinda grew up with the brand. This is the first machine I've owned in years (previously I begged, borrowed... ) and I'm glad to say they're still making 'em good! The (very reasonable) money you spend on this machine goes on build-quality, power, and ease of use. There are no frills but it's tough! A metal frame lurks under its plastic casing and that gives it weight and solidity.
I'm really pleased with this machine, and the vendor's/Ebay's service, so it gets five stars. One caveat though... the "automatic needle threader..." what's that all about!? It's an extra gadget so don't worry, but could I get it to work? Nah! The instructions were... enigmatic, so I shall trundle off to YouTube to see if some helpful soul has cracked the secret sequence...
In summary, I love this sewing machine; he's already my little buddy and when I've finished making props and costumes for the play I'm working on, no unstitched piece of fabric will be safe....

Mixed thoughts about this
6 of 8 found this helpful This product isn't expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. I'm told it's very comfortable, and it's certainly quick and easy to inflate and deflate. After only its first use it got a hole underneath which I had to fix with a bicycle puncture repair kit. The plastic is thin and really too delicate.
It's a little larger than a standard double, so fitted sheets don't fit snuggly but 'ride up'. It seems very few inflatable beds are made to UK standard double size - which is irritating.
I only clicked 'yes' for the 'would you recommend it?' question above because there wasn't a 'maybe'.
Overall what do I think? As it seems we say these days, 'meh...'
