Never got Wifi SD to work
2 of 2 found this helpful This was bought to allow an SD Card to be used on an old camera that used Compact Flash Storage. The offer of WiFi SD was a plus, but not the main reason for buying it. I have SDHC adapters for microSD cards, so I am familiar with the concept and assumed this would work the same way ... Put the card in the adapter, put the adapter in the camera and check the phone for the new WiFi connection. Unfortunately, this never really worked on this adapter, I even tried it with one of my SDHC adapters and got no network ... The only way I was able to access WiFi SD, with this adapter was to use a Toshiba FlashAir card and connect to the WiFi connection from that ... Probably down to the age of the camera, but be aware that the WiFi on this is not bullet proof ... However, as a straight SDHC to CF adapter ... No complaints there.
