Canon ef 28mm f1.8 usm
Excellent standard lens on canon aps-c sensor equivalent to 45mm on full frame. Very soft at f1.8 but improves dramatically at f2 and is tack sharp from f2.8 up. Fast focus, though a little noisy. Feels solid and well made. Front element does not turn during focussing, so using filters is easy.

Perfect for travel
Perfect size for my minimalist travel kit. Canon G5x, ex120 flash, iphone and a manfrotto pixi tripod fit in the main compartment with room to spare. Batteries and cleaning kit fit in the front pocket. There is also a rear slim pocket both on the inside and outside of the bag. Build quality and padding up to the standard you would expect from lowepro. Small and lightweight ideally suited to compact or mirrorless camera. Very pleased with the product and would recommend.
