Works like a charm
We're in Phoenix AZ so we're actually not using it for leaves. We've ruined two pumps with gravel and rock during sweeping. We are THRILLED with this device. The mesh is small enough to capture even the tiny bits of gravel dirt and it doesn't impeded the suction to gather the large pieces up. We're hoping to replace pumps a lot less often. We saw other cheaper brands at the depot but they weren't made as well and harder to get parts for. We trust Hayward as a brand.

Good product with the refurbish price
They work fairly well for my adult autistic daughter however high pitch sounds like twinkling of an outdoor chime drove her nuts even with her music on. Everything else seems to be working well for her especially when out and about around people.

Bought if for son in Boston who had no -disinfectant avaialble.
It's better than anything you would find on a shelf and it's recommended by Health Departments state wide. Used in hospitals and salons.
