New Nextbase 300W Dash Cam

Very basic with frustrating app connection.

I think the camera itself is good quality, the issue is the supporting nextbase app that you use to retrieve recordings and adjust the settings of the dash cam. It creates a wifi hotspot that you then link your phone/tablet to. This is a real hit and miss affair that does not work most of the time. Also the mount and camera are a combined unit held on by a double sided tape pad, this is a pain should you wish to remove the camera and move it to another location or vehicle. Overall I wish I had not bought this camera even at the reduced price of £45.

Impressive heft with a few QC issues

I love big watches with easy to read displays, this however is a big watch with a smallish display. The case diameter is about 48 mm but the face is around 30mm. The watch is about 18 mm thick which makes it decidedly top heavy. The integrated divers strap is very stiff and difficult to feed through the keeper. It's does look distinctive but a bit unbalanced. My main gripe with this watch is that the dial is ever so slightly mis aligned, the second hand does not strike the chapter ring second indicies precisely. This is not something I would expect from a watch of this price. Overall I would recommend you handle one before taking the plunge, it's not quite what I expected.

Bargain of the decade. 99p for 2 phone cases ! Only catch is you have to own a 3 year old phone that was never released in the U.K. LGV20 😀
