Sadly No SPDIF output
I needed a way to play stereo audio over optical SPDIF. This is the only feature I tested. This device has the connections for it so it would have been perfect if it worked. Sadly I had no results getting it to work on macOS Catalina or Windows 10.
The Windows 10 drivers supplied on the CD install a set of headphone drivers and an application to control the output. It’s an old piece of software but installs fine and has lots of options for equalisation and effects. This driver would not allow me to select SPDIF output (was greyed out) so I couldn’t get any sound out of my speakers.
The seller suggested trying it out on Windows XP, which I will try to do when I get time, but this is a silly suggestion that’s not very realistic for the average person to have access to such an old insecure version of Windows on a computer.

Shiny tape
This roll of shiny aluminium tape is great value for money. It’s a little like aluminium foil with one side being sticky. You have to work very carefully to stop it from creasing when you apply it but it looks good.

Give your silk epil a new lease of life.
The trimmer on my old cutting head began to catch and cut much less effectively over time so I needed a new one. This is great, and I’ve had no issues even though it’s been over a year.
