The Yamaha psr-ew400 sound quality on external speakers is poor.
The Yamaha psr-ew400 produces a poor sound on external speakers. For the price and the fact that it is an updated version to the YPG-235 I was expecting a much better sound quality. When connected to an amplifier, it sounded like a cheap piano. The sound was actually a little annoying, unpleasant to the ear. It did not sound full and strong like the YPG-235, the older version. I decide to repurchase the YPG-235 and returned the psr-ew400.
I liked the ability to connect a usb thumb drive. That was an improvement for storing your compositions. It has some other (few) added features not really necessary in my opinion. So, what kills this piano is the sound quality on external speakers.
