Worked for me.
Works perfectly for my Akai AP 100C. Hinges are able to hold the weight of the cover in place. Looks like the gap accommodates 3mm Acrylic, just be aware of that. I think my cover was 2mm, but I just wedged a piece of rubber in there and it works fine.
