Manual knife sharpeners,are they worth it?
I bought my first sharpening system a few months ago. I must say, the universal mount makes the lansky sharpening system worth owning. knowing what I know now I would never purchase a manual sharpening system without a base.

my opinion of the Manix2
1 of 1 found this helpful The reason I agreed to give a review on the manix2 so soon{2 months} is because I had already owned the manix2xl. So, I love the leaf shaped blade. the jimping on the front middle and back of the blade is excellent. I've always been a big fan of G-10 scales over 'FRN'. Finally, I love the relaxed 18 degree bevel on the cpms30v'leaf-shaped blade(I'm guesstimating the exact bevel).The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is, I haven't had as much time with this locking system as I'd like, though it seems to work just fine. P.S. I'd like to see this in a 3'' verson
