  Item arrived and something was rattling around in the case (assume this was from shipping). Opened it up to some broken plastic and wires detached for the battery retainer, however, the balance and internals of the clock still looked good. Re-soldered and managed to fix the terminal and retaining case. Installed a battery and the clock is working! Description says self-winding and I think this is right also. Ultimately, item as described. Good seller, quick ship! A+
