One of the best books about Nauvoo
Even though this was a used product, the book is out of print, so it is the only way to get it. For anyone in love with Nauvoo, it gives details, pictures and often little known facts about the buildings and people who started this town in 1839.

Very well researched, characterized and believable plot. A book that is hard to put down!
This book kept my attention throughout the whole book. It was so interesting to learn about what life was like for people, especially women, and slaves, even if they were manumitted, in the late 1700's. The development of the characters was very believable and not contrived, stereotypical or unbelievable. This was a clean, Christian based novel making it nice to know something I didn't want to read about was waiting around the corner. Laura Frantz is my new favorite author!
For a used book, it was in great condition.
