Saves time not having to manually set Timers or turn hoses on.
My wife has large flower and vegetable gardens. I have 3 Toro Ecxtra Timers controlling Orbit automatic valves with hoses watering 3 gardens. 8 hoses on one timer, 6 on another and 3 on the 3rd timer. Each hose connects to drip line. Like inground systems but with flexibility of adding and moving hoses when needed. The Timers work great and these pods allow me to have one for each timer. Computer software allows setting schedules then sending it to the USB Pod. Pod then attaches to Timer for transfer. Not WIFI but I don't modify schedule that often for a big price difference.
