Need an extra monitor (or monitors)? Get this
So for 7+ years now, I've been working for a company that issues Lenovo laptops. Right now, I have a T560, which has a 15" 1080p screen, and my old eyes just can't use that very well, so I have been thinking for a while about adding a third desktop (27") monitor to the two that I currently have. The problem is that the combination of laptop and dock that I have does not support more than two external monitors.
And then I found out about this item. Everything I saw on Lenovo's website said it should work with my laptop and dock, so I ordered one. The first couple of days, it seemed a little shaky once or twice... but then all last week it worked 100%, and that has continued into this week. Having three 27" monitors on my desk has been awesome, and I can't see any difference in quality between the ones using DisplayPort outs on the dock, and the one using the USB3.0 adapter.
I've told my boss about this, and I think more people at my company may be getting this, apparently I'm not the only one who would like a 3-monitor setup. If you're interested in that, you should get this.
