Has a inversion scramble mode, withdrawn from the market under duress..That makes it the only way on FRS/GMRS to have any measure of privacy.Build quality is also very nice with a good size display.These were quite expensive back then.Scan mode is lacking, use a new one for that,MR350 or better.
