I had Goldair before from John Lewis. This feels like average plastic build, very light weight, the base is average. the fan makes a little sound even when no speed is selected yet. TO CANCEL THIS, you must always make sure the the button is in the OFF position. If in ON position without any fan speed selected you get that little clicking. Overall cheap build. I paid £39.99 for this, I should have spent another £30 or £40 extra for a better quality fan. Total score 55%
