Cloud Mountain 86LBS Thrust Electric Trolling Motor for Fishing Boats

Great

I use the 80lb for my 12' jon boat in the place of a small 2-stroke and it works great. It pushes me and another guy with tackle (450lbs) up the lower part of the Colorado River at a good pace. Im definitely not trying to race but it works for what I want. I use a MK 40lb to troll around but the 80 works great to move. On 1/5, the motor pushes us to fast to troll but I didn't buy this for that! Love the battery meter too.

Okay, i knew I wouldn't be getting a steal but I just didn't want to spend a bunch. The quality of the motor seems good. The instructions are really confusing but it's already assembled. The motor starts right up 90% of the time but doesn't like to stay running when it gets warm. It pushes my 12' Jon boat about the same as my minn Kota 40. I think that eventually I can figure out how to make it run smoother and longer with more research and a few tweaks, but as of right now it works okay. I always make sure I have my trolling motor ready just in case. If u want something that is a plug and play then I would tell you to get something else but if u r good w 2srokes this could be a good deal for you.
