Can be used as tripod adapter

While the seller indicated this was primarily an adapter to convert a grinder from 3/8"-16 to 5/8"-11 threads, I found it also works quite well to allow survey equipment with 5/8"-11 threads to be mounted to tripods with 3/8"-16 threads.
