An Excellent Model Kit
Simply the very best model aeroplane kit I have ever purchased! Wingnut Wings have taken 1/32 scale aircraft modeling to the very heights with this superb kit!
Even before opening the box, one can see by the look and feel of it that great care has been taken with the product to ensure the very best of quality, and this is no illusion, for once one has removed the lid, one finds all the perfectly molded parts, well wrapped and packed, inside. These are a joy to view, but the marvels are not done with yet; when one reaches the bottom, one finds the instruction book.
'Book' is the correct word for this wonderful production. Printed in colour, on top-quality, glossy A4 paper, the instructions are easy to read and follow and the book is also full of excellent reference photographs, mostly in colour, but including some original, period photographs of the Bristol Fighter, which are, of course, in monochrome.
In short, I can find no fault whatsoever with any aspect of this model kit, and I would heartily recommend Wingnut Wings productions to any person thinking of embarking on a larger scale aeroplane model.

Excellent little model kits
These matchbox model kits are among the best of their kind any company has ever produced -- with the added bonus of each model coming with its own special display base. All the kits in the series are very well designed, and assemble easily with minimal need for any filler -- usually I have not needed to use any at all. Therefore, they are suitable for beginners to the modelling hobby, as well as more experienced modellers who want a break from something more complex, or simply a little bit of nostalgia.
With beginners, especially young ones, in mind, Matchbox also made their kits in two or three colours of plastic, so that a good-looking model can be built without the need for any painting; and they do look very nice when built in this manner, too.
The one point to bear in mind when buying these old kits for anything other than collecting them to keep as is, in-the-box, is that the decals have usually lost their adhesive quality, and will need securing to the model promptly with matt varnish -- well shaken, to ensure that it does dry matt!
On the plus side of this age issue, the tracks that come with the kits produced during the 1970s and 1980s remain flexible and do not deteriorate with age, unlike those with the Revell releases from the 1990s onward (look for the green recycling logos on the boxes, and if it is a tracked vehicle AVOID), which gradually begin oozing a nasty, oily substance, which makes the tracks go brittle and eventually fall apart, as well as ruining ones paintwork!
The Jagdpanther model is one of my favourites of the purple series, portraying as it does one of the most fearsome weapons Germany was fielding in the latter part of WWII.
The matchbox model has decals and paint plans for two versions: vehicle 411 of the 12th SS Panzer Division (Hitler-Jugend), Normandy, 1944 (it is worth noting that the 12th SS did not actually have Jagdpanthers at that date); and vehicle 215 of the 28th SS Freiwilligen Panzer Division, Berlin, 1945 -- each very exciting, for these units were engaged in some of the fiercest fighting with British and Russian forces during those campaigns.

A Jolly Good 1/6 Female Headsculpt
An excellent quality headsculpt for 1/6 figures, the rendering of the face is really rather exquisite, and the hair is soft and fine, and yet not fragile or garish.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs such a head for their 1/6 female action figure body.
