Good suction, poor GPS retention

I like the lever function of the suction mount over the dial function of the original OEM mount. However, the GPS retaining ring held poorly, and a gentle tap disengaged the two. I ended up using the OEM retainer ring with this suction mount.

Decent Quality, but...

The ratings choices of YES or NO do not allow for a fair and accurate rating. Give me a five star option range.This drill guide is mostly all metal, making it a better choice than other types. The 2 guide bars are true and work smoothly. The drill chuck is fairly cheap, and the drill chuck bushing has a little more slop than I prefer. But if I could change one thing I would add a bigger base plate, or a base plate with an extension so I could clamp down the base to prevent it from moving during the cut. If I need to enlarge an existing hole the drill guide will move around because there is no pilot drill (like a hole saw) and no easy way to clamp down the base.
