Stone Director Chairs Replacement Water Resistant Canvas Covers Garden Furniture

New life to an old chair
I needed to replace the canvas on an old director's chair. To buy the material new would have cost about the same as this product, with the additional faff of having to cut and sew etc. This fabric is great, it fits the chair perfectly. Although it is some sort of manmade waterproof fibre, it looks exactly like the classic canvas material from the old days. I'm very pleased with the product which has bought new life to an old chair. OK it's rather pricey for what it is, but it will last indefinitely and is a lot easier than messing around trying to make your own covers. In fact it makes the chair look so smart that I've upgraded it from garden use and it is now used in the house!

Works reasonably well
I wasn't expecting much for the price but this does the job reasonably well, some fat still gets through but that's to be expected. I'm not slipping and sliding on the kitchen floor anymore when doing a fry up, which is the main thing. Construction quality is a bit cheap and cheerful with some missing paintwork, but again, you pay for what you get.

Rather heavy and cumbersome
Good points: easy to empty, plenty of attachments. Supposedly good at picking up pet hairs but I don't have a pet so can't comment on that. Picks up dirt and dust reasonably well. Bad points: Rather noisy and heavy and the on-board attachments seem to get knocked off easily. I found it became a little easier to push by shortening the handle, which lowers the centre of gravity. It was bought for an elderly lady who wanted a more 'traditional' type of vacuum (ie, noisy and heavy) so I think she's happy with it!
