The human cost of the Industrial Revolution.
At a time when we are waking up to slavery in the cotton growing countries, this work by Engels is of great significance in helping us understand the human cost of the Industrial Revolution in England. It ought to be compulsory reading.

Excellent early history of the SAS
This is well documented history of the origins of what would become the SAS regiment. This urgently told story charts the SAS from its humble beginnings in the “gentlemanly” war against Rommel’s army in the Libyan and Egyptian deserts, through occupied Sicily, Italy, into France and finally Germany itself, by which time the penalty for capture was death. Such heroes. Riveting.

New book. This is a must read to set the record straight about this exceptional man. The “SAS Rogue Heroes” tv series paints him as a mad dog, but a mad dog wouldn’t live long enough to earn the DSO four times over. This painstakingly researched book contains family material not previously available, and gives new insight into understanding the complex character of Paddy Mayne.
