Garmin eTrex Legend GPS Receiver
13 of 13 found this helpful I was looking for a cheap but functional GPS to get into the sport of GeoCaching (see www.GeoCaching.com).
This unit did not have many of the expensive bells and whistles but it had good reviews, so I risked my money on the purchase.
I am very very satisfied with this purchase for my needs.
It is advertised as having a 12 hour battery life (which was important to me). Well.. that is completely wrong. I've put well over 30 hours on mine and it's still got a near full battery charge.
The screen can be difficult to see in bright sun but the inexpensive screen (black/white) is why the battery life is log awesome. I gladly trade the glitz and glamor for accuracy and purpose of use.
This product was well worth the money.. a very smart purchase for me.

Fixed me right up
Worked perfect. Took me from "no boot disk' dead laptop to fully operating Windows ready to go laptop. Perfect.
