Decent, low cost mag well
1 of 1 found this helpful This mag well looks good once I got it fitted to my SigSauer 1911. My grip was slightly wider than the space between the tabs on the mag well, so I had to do some filing on the bottom of the tabs to make it fit. I didn’t expect this because other reviews mostly said it fit right onto their guns. Maybe Sig Sauer 1911s just have slightly wider grip dimensions. It wasn’t much, but enough to prevent the mag well from going all the way onto the grip so that the hooks can engage the grip panel threaded bosses.
The other mod I had to do was to file away material on the back of the grip panels to make room for the tabs of the mag well. This I was aware of from reading other reviews.
