Hope to be good component quality better than manufacturing it

I reived my order about a week ago, installing it on my Outlander I realized that the plug from the SUV doesnt go in for the lock to close, then I realized that the sokert ot the spring clock is defective andwont allow the blug to go in all the way so the lock will be able to lock down as it should, loking into it relaize that it was not wht it should be letting the plug go in all the way in the socket. Had to make modification on it by filing the inside of the socket using a hot knife to trim down th inside to the point that will allow the plug to go in. Finnaly I installed it and it is working fine, hop that it would last and the quality of the component ismuch better than manufactring it
