these things are hit and miss i would never stick a customer with this unreliable burden. get are TSP ready to run and a blaster2 coil. or you will endup with a pile of pertronix junk

Good stuff!!!!!
I use these rims on 1/8 buggy , pretty much the only rim I run now simply because they are light, strong, and run true with little deflection.... for the money there isn't another brand out there that can take what these rims can take.

a little less than expected
ordered a couple of these to install on my kids buggies, my children don't race but they like to go to the track and have fun. I did have the inexpensive dynamite motors in there cars. read a lot about the engine online and it was talked way up in my opinion,, I am not looking for a 400 dollar race engine, I have a bunch of them, the engine its self is very nice looking, so I inspected internals, not to impressed with the circle clip grooves the clips in one wasn't seated correctly, normally I run the blank end of wrist pin towards the exhaust, to keep buildup out , but I left this one as found. crankshaft is kind of cheap looking and the grinding of the rotor start pin on the rod pin was very cheap looking... bearing seam kind of good and feel decent, sleeve is a typical plated brass variant, resembling a track star.21, con rod seemed of good quality bushings on both ends, bright and yellow, don't know if that's better material or not. fasteners are of good quality. engine was very clean inside no foreign matter, rod lube hole clean and clear, from what I see and with my 20yrs experience in nitro I feel this engine could eclipse 8 gallons with good lengthy break in.,keeping head hot and cycling cold again. Carb was a long needle slide which felt smooth and tight, should get decent run times with a smaller restrictor in carb, I will tune one and stick it in my tight track car and see for myself the pros and cons of this engine, ill find out how much of a race tune it can take before the rod lets go or the piston and sleeve fail, or the bearings unravel. I sometimes buy these 100buck engines and enjoy myself, like the track star I bought that lasted about 15 min, I lost a bet on that one after telling a friend I could out run his s7 with it.., This engine is buyable, a track star is not.. maybe I can redeem myself and not loose a bet with this one, we shall see. But in my opinion this is decent engine for tight track, club racing atmosphere, bashing and going mudding in a monster truck, and you don't have to feel bad when it blows, cheap enough ,, oh if you run 30% chunk a c6tgc in it and don't worry about adding a shim.
