Product that was ahead of its time in concept and still is...
The premise of typing on a projected surface is an interesting gimmick or a conversation starter at best, until it just isn't. Most high end mobile devices having a gestures enabled touchscreen for fast typing or a direct speech to text engine are far superior alternatives. Projection paired with motion tracking technology may become mainstream once low powered emitters capable of 3D projection onto thin air become a reality but we're not quite there yet.

Best paired with a dedicated gaming router*
Don't get unless you already have a dedicated high-end router like ASUS RT-AC5300 to pair it with. Those experiencing poor performance with this ASUS PCE-AC88 are likely bottlenecked by their ISP's issued garbage modem/router combo; get a high-end router 1st.
