Part doesn’t fit the gmc 3500
The gmc 3500 factory under tailgate light is what I tried replacing says it fits. It doesn’t fit. The light is too short and doesn’t line up to holes. It’s not a direct replacement like the rest of the lights. Because it is smaller in length you need to drill 2 new holes exposing the factory holes. Doesn’t have the correct plug neither it has a tow plug. It’s for people that want the light under a tailgate but don’t already have one. Do not buy if you have a factory third brake light under your tailgate. In the listing it says direct replacement this is a universal. I thought recon was the best till this.
