Intriguing content, beautiful book
Intriguing content, beautiful book. More a series of reflection on the body, gravity, and yoga rather than a "how to" manual. I am enjoying the book and it has provoked some "ah ha" moments for sure. Quite unusual perspective that I haven't seen elsewhere.

The perfect fitbit
I've had much more expensive fitness trackers that track geolocation, heart rate, etc. However, this version of the fitbit flex is my favorite.
Why?
--so lightweight that you don't notice it on your wrist, unlike fancier trackers
--water resistant enough that I don't have to remove to take a shower (but don't swim with it!)
--chill enough that I can leave on while I sleep.
--it tracks my sleep without me having to do anything at all.
--holds a charge for like five or six days.
--relatively unobtrusive in appearance.
--cheap enough now on eBay that I can buy it and not really worry if it were to break or get lost. (i've lost two other fitbits so far that both clipped into my pocket; this is also why I like a wrist version better.)
--the lack of a step count on the unit itself (it only gives you rough estimates with the dots) makes me slightly less manic about checking it, while still giving me the feedback I want.
--of the various tracker companies, there are only two I'm fairly certain will stay in business, Garmin and Fitbit; so I feel like my data will probably live on and not be tied to a company that goes defunct.
That's it. It's a good tracker. If you need heart rate monitoring, however, you will want a different product.
Cheers!
