Not For a Commercial Action
4 of 4 found this helpful My Commercial Action was a nightmare to get bedded into this stock - I have a 3006 contoured barrel as well. I do NOT FAULT the maker of this stock, But I suggest not buying it for a different contour. My main issue is after hours of fitting the barrel contour & then the action & lug areas, the " free float " is about 3/8" above the barrel channel as viewed looking down the forend. I had to re-fit the entire length of the receiver to get a nice profile. After all this, the magazine actually worked a lot smoother. All in All - a good stock, but if you plan anything a little different, get ready for some work.....

seems ok, but the coverage is a bit "thin "

very poor fit.......
Had to re - tighten it several times. It appears that the plastic is not hard enough where it mates to the receiver, after only a few shots - the alignment goes way off. Essentially, the butt stock raises up causing such mis-alignment that you cannot see your sights or bead, both barrels had issues >22 & 12ga. I hope this helps, I suggest using a stiffer type of plastic or maybe a steel bushing of some type. It was fun while it lasted.......
