    SN-28B Pin Crimping Tool Crimper 0.1-1.0mm² 2.54mm 3.96mm 28-18AWG For Dupont
    Nov 06, 2015
DO NOT BUY, if you want good crimps that don;t fall apart.
For less than $20, this is the crimper you get. It will bend and break the open barrel connectors, the crimps will need to be redone about every 3rd crimp, and you have to fix your crimper with small tweezers or plyers. These just suck, but then again, they are dirt cheap. I guess if you had a job where you only had to make a dozen or less crimps, then the job was over, these would get you by for cheap. If you are doing a hobby project, and you want your crimps to last, not come apart, and not have to be fixed so they actually fit into the sockets you intend to use the connectors with, then skip these and save up $40 for some good quality crimpers. The dye or mold they make these with is cheap, so the tolerances are off, and the tool does not bend the connectors properly. It is a design flaw within the tool, so only another model will fix it. Problem is, a well made, hardened steel, precision dye made crimper will cost you $40+. You will need to get one of these better tools from Japan or the US, not China. China is famous for soft, pot metal tools that do not last. They do this to save money, and we fall into that trap thinking we are getting a good deal for cheap. I think lots of people buy these as their 1st crimper, then quickly find they need to go buy a better crimper. You will not get a good crimper for less than $40, but you can buy 3 or 4 of these models for the same money as 1 well made crimper... At least the jaws are interchangeable, maybe they will offer a upgrade jaw set that actually works and makes this crimper not bend or break the connectors? If you notice, the is a 2nd crimper with the silver jaws, and that is the better jaw set, which sadly is usually not shipped. Instead, you get the black teeth jaw set, which does not make crimps worth a darn. I can only assume the silver teeth are better, but you need to look at the jaws and see if they will curve the connector inward to make the proper crimp? It is hard to tell, and with these overseas vendors, you don't know what you will get until weeks later when it arrives. It is hard to blame the vendor though, people was a $12 crimper, and out of every 5 crimps, one might be acceptable, so they technically are not lying, the tool just has a high failure rate for crimps, like 80% of the crimps are bad. So who is to blame, the merchant who fills the void for a cheap tool, or the consumer who asks for and buys the cheap tool? Do your homework, read the net, find the good crimpers and your life and hobby will be much better. It is one time that extra $$$ makes the world of difference.

JF-31 Noise Gate Guitar Effect Pedal True Bypass Design Noise Suppressor JOYO
    Nov 02, 2015
Amazing deal for the money, works like a $100+ pedal for so much less!!!
This product cost so little, I figured I would give it a go and just throw it out if it sucked. Well, it does not suck, it is as good as any gate I have used, including big name gates. A noise gate is a simple product, it does not have to do much, the most important thing is being able to adjust the gate as to when it jumps in and cuts the noise. This pedal works great with my knob at 10-o-clock. Other than that, I can't say anything else. It is that simple, it just works, it does not cut in too early, or too late. Why people need multiple knobs on a gate is beyond me? I just wanted something to cut in, when needed, and silence my Peavey tube amp when I stopped to answer the phone or talk. This pedal does that as well as I could ask for. Maybe the more expensive pedals do more, but if you just need a simple gate, this works great, and the price is amazing. Yes, it is plastic. The switch seems sturdy enough, I use it everyday at home. If I was going to gig, I might consider a metal case if I had to travel alot, like everyday. It travels well if you go to a friends house to jam and such, I just don;t know how well it would last after 6 months on tour. I love it, if it were to break, I would get another. I suggest this to anyone that asks which gate to buy. I looked at gates 4x the cost of this one, and I am glad I tried this 1st.
