I am a SWGM, 64 years old and I live in Scappoose, OR with my cat Tinkerbell. I have many interests from working on cars, collecting Christmas ornaments and making custom drapes. Most of the sewing I do by hand.

An excellent book at an almost give away price
I only received this book yesterday, but have breezed through it looking at pictures and then have started reading it. I wish I had the kind of budget that a lot of the people in this book have. It does give a history of fabrics, where the different basic patterns came from. There are a lot of great pictures that I am sure will inspire me. I make custom drapes and I have seen a few ideas that I am going to use. Overall it is a book that I know I will use for ideas for drapes and upholstery. I developed a taste for really fine fabrics when I worked as an Interior designer's assistant.

Just what I wanted.
I have a 1989 MB 190e that is a real dark gray and I wanted the smoked color for my taillights. These fit the bill perfectly. I haven't installed them yet, waiting for better weather.
