A classic book on outdoor painting worth every dime.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a classic among art books and in particular Plein Air landscape painting. It's an expensive book but well worth the money. Edgar Payne was one of our truly great California Impressionist so his words and small sketches are like a tutorial.
The book is in beautiful condition ( basically brand new) and the color plates are excellent .For anyone serious about Plein Air painting you need this book.
