Disappointing
Sorry Hormel, but these tamales weren't what I remembered them being. I first had them when I was a kid. My mom bought them and at that time it was a treat to have a foreign food. I'd always remembered them and over the years came to love Mexican food at many of our local restaurants. But when I recently recalled these tamales and mom getting them for me, I couldn't find them at any grocery store. So I searched for them and found them online and ordered. And as I've already said, they weren't what I remembered them being. Very bland tasting without a hint of chili flavor. I eat one can out of the dozen I ordered and then donated the rest to a local charity.
