I recommend it and it's an OK replacement but be prepared to do quite a bit of drilling...Major PITA
It fit fine. That was good. I noticed that the metal section in the middle of the larger end (the end that connects to the frame of the car, protrudes out, eliminating the need for a rubber cover there. I am not quite sure if this design is any better. Probably the same, I guess. The other end (the end which connects to the bracket (which bolts to the tranny), was a bit smaller than the one from the factory. I guess it's ok. Seems like it's decently strong. The reason that I gave the part only three stars is because...I had to do quite a bit of drilling on BOTH holes to allow the bolts to fit through. I had to use about 7 or 8 sizes to make the holes big enough. I stepped up, ONE drill size at a time because going straight for the PROPER size was too difficult. What a effin' mess it made too. Metal shavings EVERYWHERE. It says it's an OEM part, yet the holes were too small AND the size on the one end was smaller too. Unless the design of it was changed. IDK...BTW...I noticed that people who bought this on Amazon had to drill the holes too. They weren't happy either & I don't blame them.
