2 of 2 found this helpful Very good radio... Very strong transmitter, but the bad side of radio.. It really generates alot of heat because of the heatsink inside the back of the radio..
The nice thing.. it needs not stupid docking station, no nothing just power adapter and antenna thats it..
To solve the heat problem,, take a CPU FAN or something small and put in the back of the radio...
make sure the fan is pointed towards the radio. be sure back clip is removed for full heat removal...
And since doing that.. the radio is cold to the touch... and probably will last then 2 years.
But since this mostly a house radio anyway.. just the setup i use works very well as shown in the picture... And overheating solved!... VERY COLD TO THE TOUCH...
HEAT IS THE #1 killer OF electronics.. Getting rid of the heat will greatly extend the life of the device.

0 of 1 found this helpful This is a good phone for its price. Its compact and it really gets good reception. Because of the provider that bought the phone, Verizon Wireless. Any phone as long as you don't drop it, throw it around, or abuse will last many many years. I bought this phone because although it was used it looked like brand new. Where i live service is terrible with SPRINT & Cingular, but Verizon Wireless they provide the best coverage possible, and since they buy these phones and resell them i don't mind having it. And the other thing about this prepaid phone it can used with my ALLTEL account what is now Verizon. And i am not locked in a contract with Verizon, so one reason i like buying used phones depending on the quality and condition they are in. It may be a prepaid cellphone but it works wonderful where i live a steady 2 bars out of 4 bars with verizon wireless. I doubt if SPRINT will ever come close to verizon.
I want a provider with quality and good coverage, and verizon wireless has got my attention since they bought out ALLTEL. The alltel service has improved to where i live to since its now verizon.

1 of 1 found this helpful I have nothing against poulan chainsaws. The only thing i am not crazy about is the stupid carborator. Although i always make sure the air cleaner and fuel microfilter in the gas tank is clean. I could never get any poulan chainsaw to idle right. Yes once i get it start and give it gas now and then just to keep it going it does a great job. What is it with the carbs? They might be cheap chainsaws. They all use the same carb stihl homelite WALBRO AND ZAMA.
The poulan might use the same identical carb to that on a stihl chainsaw.
The bars and chains are interchangeable with stihl chainsaws.
