Assembly quirks, but otherwise good.
The unit I bought was an "open box" product sold by the manufacturer through ebay. The price was well below retail and a good value. As far as I could tell, it was new and all accessories were included. Assembly requires that you have a fairly long shaft Phillips-head screwdriver. If all you have are screwdrivers with exchangeable bits, you will find the shaft too wide to go in the hole and be unable to tighten the screws. Once past that frustration, the unit does a very good job cleaning carpets. The cleaning solution tank is on the small side, so expect to fill it twice or more if you are doing a full room.
