Ping better than Spring
By that I mean, many bells have a spring coil inside with a lateral lever action - they always break. This is the kind where you just pull the thumb lever back and let go. It whacks the bell, and Ping!

Much floppier than the one that came out
The material is thinner, and less stiff, than the one that came out. So much so that there is no firm inward slope from the outer edge so that all the water does not drain into the trough (the one that catches all the loose items from your pocket). This means when you open the door after a wash a bit of water that drains out onto the floor. Additionally, the three holes in that trough for water to drain out of were nothing more than imprints of holes. I had to poke them on through. But at least I can wash clothes again, after my original bellow somehow got a hole in it.

Every kitchen should have them.
Real Corningware is dishwasher, microwave safe, fairly drop-proof and with a lid you can store your leftovers in the fridge.
