NIKON NUVIS S - perfect pocket camera
4 of 4 found this helpful With an original price of almost $300 and currently avaialble on eBay for a small fraction of that the Nikon Nuvis S is a great buy for people who want a rugged, pocketable camera with great capabilities, but easy operation. I have several pro-Series Nikon SLRs, but the camera that goes in my pocket for spur of the moment pictures is a Nuvis S.
With a sharp zoom lens, good internal flash and protective Titanium clamshell case this is a dream of a camera. Nikon lens, Nikon automation, good quality.
While many are going to digital, few digital cameras can give you the quality of a film camera, especially if you set this Advanced Photo System camera on Panorama mode and get a wide screen, HD photo of landscapes or group shots.
If you want digital pictures, try using this APS camera and getting a PhotoCD back from the lab, That is the best of both worlds.

Better than Described
Item better than described. Problem mentioned in listing was a non-issue. Works perfectly after a little knowledgeable TLC.
