Drop-in replacement
4 of 4 found this helpful Much better than the plastic stock safety. Easy to install, biggest problem is getting the factory safety screw out without destroying it. Managed to get mine out without damaging it, just takes patience. I agree with every other reviewer, even though Pro-Mag doesn't include a tool to remove the "one-way" factory screw they should at least supply a replacement screw with the enhanced safety. I will replace the factory screw soon but at least I lucked out and didn't have to make a run to the hardware store and spend a bunch of time "fitting" a new screw. It's just a short 6/32" screw but getting one the correct length so it doesn't interfere with the bolt function is critical. One other thing, Pro-Mag does not include any instructions but there are probably a bunch of "U-Tube" videos that cover the install. BIG THING HERE!!! Make sure the bolt is fully to the back of the receiver BEFORE you remove the safety screw and when you lift the safety up off the receiver THERE IS A SMALL DETENT BALL AND SPRING UNDER THE SAFETY!!!! Best way to work on anything that has small detents and springs and other "small" parts is to work on the gun with it in a plastic bag. Help to keep from launching detent pins and springs off into never never land!!! There are a couple of other "enhanced" oversized safeties out there for the Mossberg but sometimes bigger doesn't mean better...

Works great
Bought this since my RRA LAR-18 uses FAL magazines. works great with the NcStar 7.62x51 stripper clips. Beats loading 20 rd. mags one round at a time. The stripper clips are a bit "pricey" but they are reusable and don't see any problem with them wearing out or breaking...

A must have for your AR
This is great!!! Well made and way cheaper than other scrapers. It cleans all surfaces ob the bolt carrier and bolt, much easier to use than wire brushes and dental picks. The scraper is made of S/S but it's soft S/S that will not scratch the bolt and carrier.
