FANTASTIC!
This is great for even the most casual of Star Wars collectors.
Is it an improvement over the previous "Dutch" Vander figure? Absolutely! Not only because of the updated body design (the John D. body from the "Evolutions" set) but because the head/helmet has been improved.
First of all, the head is a remarkable sculpt. If you are a fan of the original movie, or of the cartoon "Rebels", then you will like what they have done with this sculpt.
Second, the helmet is likely reused from a previous release. The casting on this particular helmet is fairly sharp. There is no sculpted microphone. The paint decoration is top notch and very clean. It would be great to use as-is for other pilots such as Hobbie.
Great for a collection or for customizing.

Great Figure... Great for customizing
Excellent figure from the Legacy/Vintage Collection Era of Star Wars Figures. Perfect for display out of the box. For those wanting to customize the figure, there are a couple points of interest.
1. The helmet has the grey stripes on the face. But since it's molded in black, they are easy to git rid of if you want to. I used some rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and it was gone in a few minutes
2. The gun belt is removable. Removing the belt won't hurt the looks of the figure, as there is a sculpted belt underneath.

Fantastic Craftsmanship
I've bought some patches from conventions before and have a "meh" expectation of quality. But this patch was exceptional! It's so well made without any stray threads. No fraying around the edges. Color is spot on with what is pictured. Fantastic quality!
