Not for data!
I bought these to use mostly for charging. I wanted the 6' cable so I could plug it in and charge while using the phone. It seems to be a nice cable, fits phone jack tightly. After a couple weeks, I wanted to use one to add files to my phone. I plugged it into phone and computer, and nothing happens. I switched to the Oem cable, and computer recognizes it. Auction says it can be used for data transfer, but obviously it cannot. Just be aware it is only good for charging.
