Cable does not work with my Pixel 3

My pixel 3 does not work with most aftermarket cables; however, it works with the cables from both my pixel 2 and 3 phones. I ordered this kit because I thought it was an official Google cable. It is not and does not work with my phone. However, it may work great with other phones.
