Works after I fixed it
1 of 1 found this helpful Very fragile, but made it through shipping ok.
Flywheel was on backwards, so I had to grind off the flange to be able to epoxy it to the crank counter weight for enough clearance. Took me an hour or so.
Ran over an hour and a half on a fresh cup of coffee. (Maybe longer, but I drank the coffee).
Crankshaft runs between gimbals, not pillow blocks, so there is very little friction. That also means that if the crankshaft is not quite straight, it should run anyhow.
This type of engine is seldom attached to anything, so if one has a fascination for watching it run, that's what it is all about. Glad I could get it to work. Glad I bought it.

Too cheap to be dependable.
Have to fiddle with it a lot before it will run, then runs only for a short period of time. An adult would say, "It figures." But a kid would be really disappointed.

Champion plugs
Still new, so still working. What else can you say about spark plugs?
