This CANON Connect Station was advertised as "Brand *NEW*". It is not. First the power cord has been wrapped around two ferrite RF snap on cores used to block stray RF signals. They are not supplied from CANON. Also, there are two Energizer AAA batteries tapped together in the package, and not a single electronics company supplies Energizer batteries, none. They supply some off brand batteries, never Energizer. And, both batteries are badly corroded. So far the unit seems to be working.
