Outstanding lens at a reasonable price
1 of 1 found this helpful This 2nd version of the Canon 50/1.8 is actually the sharpest of the three versions that were/are produced. It even has better overall sharpness than the Canon 50/1.4 lens. The price can't be beat.

Excellent Mid-Range Zoom
1 of 1 found this helpful Covers the range from a portrait to a medium zoom lens. Images are clear. Lens is lightweight. The only downside is the length; it's a bit much for a small camera bag.
