Original Feldpost Cards
These are a thin paper material, not stiff or thick like you might expect a postcard to be. The color is generally good, with some slight yellowing along the edges due to age, but nothing that makes them appear "too old", just enough patina for a good display or use for reenactment purposes. They come with the legitimate musty scent of old paper, free of charge ;) These look great filled out by a skilled hand for recreating wartime mail, or just as desk/table/collection displays on their own. Highly Recommended, one of the better deals on original feldpost out there.

US Gas Masks Conditioned for Training
2 of 2 found this helpful I received the midwar type in the product photo that is standing upright on the display head. The rubber of the mask had heavy discoloration all over but not in such a way that it was damaged. Storage dust and grime was present but a lot of it cleaned off with a moist cloth and careful wiping. Lenses may be a little yellowed but those can be replaced. Hose is pliable and only a tad stiff and a little dry; some spots here and there show cracking but not substantial. Some small parts on the mask by the head straps show cracking to the rubber, to be expected around points where a 70+ year old mask is being stretched. Canvas tape for the headstraps were a little dry but not ripping or rotted through, though I'd suggest handling/adjusting them with some care. Perhaps a form of cleaning wipe that has a solution for preserving rubber surfaces would help revive this mask more? The bag it came from was a pre/early war kidney bag...from the looks of it, they are all in these bags suggesting they were early to midwar used, if they were used in theater and not only for training. Naturally the filters are missing ( which is fine, as period filters contain carcinogens unsafe to inhale), so with thorough cleaning I believe these are entirely safe to wear. The bag is a little dirty and some spots of rust, but overall the integrity is sound and the bag is fully functional and complete. Overall a great value for the pair.

Not a long or particularly in-depth book, but serves as a great beginner's guide to those who want to know more about the women's part in the war in Germany. An often forgotten perspective, and obscure to find information about, any books like this that have compiled rare information such as this topic are definitely worth checking out. This serves as a vital reference book for those involved in historical reenacting, collecting, film making, or those who just want to learn some info outside of the typical subjects.
