Nice and reasonably well detailed

I got this to build a small town fire truck using the cab and chassis and a pumper type bed from SRD models in Ontario Canada. In taking it apart, i saw it was well made and lends itself to kitbashing if one so desires. Otherwise, it makes a nice addition to an HO layout.

Nice little model fit well with my Sinclair Station, Sinclair decal on side missing a piece but I'll just make that part of the weathering.

Poorly made

The kit says no glue but after snapping the church together there were gaps at the corners that had to be glued to make them fit tightly. Not really a big deal. The real problem was the bell tower and steeple. The instructions say to snap the bell tower together - the problem is it doesn't snap together all sides that fit together are flat mitered with nothing to snap. Had to glue it. The steeple is supposed to snap on top of the bell tower - it didn't fit at all. I finally bent the round parts of the bell tower inward and glued them to keep them in position and set the steeple on top, again gluing it. Maybe I got a bad kit - happens in mass produced stuff. And yes I read the instructions and test fitted everything. If you don't mind battling the bell tower/steeple, it is decent when you finally get it together.
