A Superb External Wireless IP Camera
1 of 1 found this helpful I've had some experience with installing 2 internal 720p cameras so knew some of the problems with installing IP cameras. These Floureon 1080P Wireless Outdoor IP Cameras appear to be well made, the wall mount and dome housing are made of metal and I found sufficient space in the wall mount to house all the cable connectors and power feed so I didn't have to drill massive holes in the wall or mount an external box for the connections. I am using them as wireless even though there is an RJ45 network connector provided. Even as wireless you still have to provide power so they are not totally wireless but that is expected. I have installed memory cards in both the outdoor cameras and ran the cameras in my office for just over a week to make sure they were working correctly before mounting the externally, more importantly I was checking the memory cards worked properly. Anyway both cameras are now mounted externally, both are running full 1080p and the picture quality is excellent and superior to the 720p cameras I have previously been using. The downloadable PC software works well, it's a newer version of the software I've been using on the 720p cameras, make sure you use the version available from the website as previous versions might cause frame freeze when trying to view either live transmission or recorded video. The IR night vision is superb and so far the cameras have worked perfectly, I hope these cameras continue to work as well as they do now, only time will tell.
I installed 64GB TF cards which I have found based on best quality video record approximately one weeks content before becoming full and then over writing existing files, I would recommend using 128GB (maximum TF card size) which should give roughly two weeks recording before overwriting. I have used this method as the alternative is to use a dedicated PC/NAS which would have to be on 24/7 for all the recording.

My Casio Wave Ceptor WVA-M630D-7A2JF Atomic Solar Mens Watch
My Casio WVA-M630D-7A2JF arrived today. Having been searching for an Atomic Solar watch I decided to order this particular model, I also downloaded the English instruction manual (model 5161) as I already knew the manual that comes with the watch is in Japanese. I chose this version as I wanted a metal case and strap, the M640's have a rubber type back which the strap is fixed to, with a stainless steel back plate, and therefore are not all metal however the movement inside is near enough identical, also I preferred the watch face on this version. The photo's do not do the watch justice, it looks far better than the photos suggest.
On unpacking, the watch having been subjected to daylight automatically moved the hands to it's preset Home City. I entered adjustment mode and set the Home City to London and the display to English, the watch hands move to my local time, an hour short as it hadn't picked up on DST, one manual receive corrected the time on the watch.
The battery status showed mid charge as is normal for Casio solar watches just taken out of the box and as far as I can see everything is working perfectly. The watch is very light and slim compared to many other watches.
The watch strap has a sliding adjustment for wrist size, the links are not removed making the strap a bit bulky under the wrist but I suspect this will not be an issue when wearing the watch.
My current Seiko Watch is a mechanical autowind without a perpetual calender so annoyingly has to be altered on months with less than 31 days, also the Seiko gains approximately one to two minutes a day, so I'm looking forward to having to make absolutely no adjustment what so ever to the Casio watch thanks to its Atomic timekeeping and not having to worry about batteries as I have done in the past with previous Quartz movement watches.
As far as I'm aware these Casio WVA-M630D-7A2JF watches were made for the Japanese market and are not directly available in the UK, which is a shame as these are really nice watches.

Knot out - Electric Grooming Comb
The product appears to be well made, unfortunately I can not give a fair review as the comb was unable to handle my cat's very fine fur. I suspect the comb will work ok on a different type of coat
