Door Lock Rod Clip-Clip Carded Dorman 75473

Horrible!!!!

I spent hours trying to get this clip to close on the rod and no matter what I did it would not close. I finally figured I had nothing to lose and asked my local Ford dealer if they by chance had this clip. Sure enough they did. I took it straight from the parts counter to my suv in the parking lot and stuck my hand through the door and sure as $-!? it clipped on and closed without any struggle or trying. OEM parts is just the way to go sometimes! The Dorman clip was not only brittle but not to spec.
